Stephen Walton is a Senior Curator in the Second World War & Mid-20th Century Conflict Team and is based at IWM Duxford. He joined IWM in 1990 as an Archivist, working on the museum’s extensive collections of letters, diaries, unpublished memoirs and other documents of service personnel and civilians during both World Wars. Areas of current interest include the Second World War from the German perspective and the war in South East Asia.
