Miroslaw Skwiot is the author of numerous books and articles about naval warfare published during 1986-2014. Among others he published monographs of the battleships 'Bismarck' and 'Nagato', Japanese aircraft carriers 'Akagi' and 'Kaga', books 'Pearl Harbor', 'Operation Rheinübung', 'Japanese battleships', 'Heavy cruisers of Admiral Hipper' class and dozens of articles on naval topics.
In his foreign language literary output he managed to sell copyright to English editions of:
'Hunting the Bismarck', 'German Navals Guns 1939 – 1945', 'German Capital Ships',
'Bismarck i Tirpitz' and Japanese publications about 'Bismarck' and 'Tirpitz'.
At the age of fifteen, inspired by a TV program “The Sea”, Mariusz Motyka took interest in building cardboard models of warships. Suddenly, ten years had passed and the passion for cardboard models evolved into creation of 3D graphics. Mariusz’s other interests include audio equipment and cycling, which he pursues as an amateur road racer. He is a happily married father of two.
