Japanese cruiser of the Second World War, the only ship of her type.
The cruiser "Ōyodo" was designed in Japan in the late 1930s in response to the need for long-range cruisers. Of the many variants prepared by the technical service, the design of the type 'C' cruiser, completed in October 1938, was selected. The hull lines of the ship are based on the slightly enlarged hull of the Agano class cruisers.
"Highly recommended."
