Dr Emily Mayhew Is A Military Medical Historian Specialising In The Study Of Severe Casualty, Its Infliction, Treatment And Long-Term Outcomes In Twentieth And Twenty-First Century Warfare. She Is The Historian In Residence In The Department Of Bioengineering At Imperial College London And A Research Fellow In The Division Of Surgery. She Is The Author Of The Wounded Trilogy: _Wounded: From Battlefield To Blighty_ (Which Was Shortlisted For The Wellcome Book Prize In 2014); _The Reconstruction Of Warriors_, And _A Heavy Reckoning: War, Medicine And Survival In Afghanistan And Beyond_.
