Jennifer Newby is the editor of Family History Monthly magazine, and previously worked on Ancestors magazine at The National Archives. She has a BA in English from St Hilda's College, Oxford, and an MA in Magazine Journalism. She has a long-standing interest in women's social history and writes a blog on the subject at www.writingwomenshistory.co.uk
