Mary Lou Missall

John and Mary Lou Missall are authors of several works on the subject, most notably The Seminole Wars: America’s Longest Indian Conflict (University Press of Florida, 2004), which has gone through two hardcover printings and has recently been released in paperback. They are also authors of two novels on the Seminole Wars, Elizabeth’s War and Hollow Victory, which have both won the prestigious Patrick D. Smith Award for Florida Fiction.
