Pamela Tulk-Hart
Pamela Tulk-Hart (1918–2010) signed up for the ATA in 1943 as a trainee pilot. Adept at flying a wide variety of aircraft, including the Spitfire, she served as a ferry pilot until the end of the war. Her ATA experiences directly inspired much of the relevant content of Paid To Be Safe, which can in some respects be read as her wartime memoir.
